We record our carbon footprint annually and constantly review our actions in this regard to ensure that we are on the right track.
Our goal
Together with ORIOR, we will develop our strategy for 2025 - 2030 so that we are well positioned for the coming years in terms of climate protection.

2. less food waste

Our understanding
We take the issue of food waste very seriously. We have made the question of how we can reduce food waste an important task. Our top priority is to coordinate demand and production even better. Because planning reliability also directly reduces waste.
Our way
For us, food waste is an area where we can still improve a lot with our work. Not only for ourselves, but also in the upstream and downstream value chain. We have already made good progress here: All of our locations are now connected to food sharing cooperations.
Our goal
We will reduce our food waste company-wide by 50% from 2022 to 2030.

3. sustainable packaging

Our understanding
Our commitment to sustainability should be easily recognizable in all marketing measures at the point of sale, but also in our communication. We communicate sustainable topics, such as our packaging strategy, within our various target groups.
Our way
By developing our own sustainable and uniform POP branding, which we use for all concepts, we avoid the unnecessary production of packaging for each individual brand. The new packaging, such as our hot beverage cups and bags, is sustainably produced and completely compostable. Our sugar sticks and napkins do not require any branding and the sugar is fair trade.
Our goal
We have reviewed our packaging for ecological optimization and will derive a target by 2025.
