Casualfood wants to offer its employees a workplace where everyone feels comfortable. With a good working atmosphere in which needs are recognized and skills are promoted. We work hard to achieve this!

1. fair and attractive employer

Our understanding
We are a fair and attractive employer. This is particularly important against the backdrop of an increasing shortage of skilled workers, which has become even more acute in our industry following the pandemic. We live up to this claim and do a lot to promote competent employees and keep staff turnover as low as possible.
Our way
We regularly obtain feedback on the satisfaction of our employees through internal surveys and hold 1-to-1 discussions (casualtalk) with the entire workforce. We promote young talent and train apprentices in three professions. We cover the costs of further training upon agreement and where possible. Thanks to short-time working, we were able to retain the majority of our workforce during the coronavirus pandemic, enabling us to cope well with the recovery in flight movements.
Our goal
We want to secure attractive jobs and create sustainable new and interesting jobs.

2. human rights, diversity and equal opportunities

Our understanding
Respecting human rights is out of the question for us. Diversity is an important issue in the catering and retail sectors. We are proud of our cultural diversity and actively promote it, as a multi-cultural team made up of a wide variety of people fits in perfectly with our casual food philosophy and our field of activity, travel gastronomy. This open approach also broadens our target group of employees. The implementation of equal opportunities enables us to perceive diversity in the workforce as an enrichment.
Our way
We promote a positive working atmosphere in which our corporate culture is actively lived and supported by everyone. As a signatory to the "Diversity Charter", we send out a clear signal and constantly focus on diversity - be it through our own diversity manager or our diversity calendar.

Dealing openly with diversity is central to us. It is important to us that employees feel welcome, comfortable and valued at Casualfood, regardless of gender, age or ethnicity.

3. occupational health and safety

Our understanding
We take the issue of occupational health and safety and the health of our employees very seriously. As the working environment at airports and train stations is often stressful and the temperatures in the outlets can only be regulated to a limited extent, we do everything we can to make work as pleasant and safe as possible for our employees and to safeguard and strengthen their health.
Our way
Our safety officers in Frankfurt, Düsseldorf and Berlin ensure that our workplaces are safe. They are also available to answer questions from all employees. Occupational safety standards are continuously reviewed and adjusted in regular meetings with the external occupational safety service. Our employees receive regular training on occupational health and safety, both as part of onboarding and in regular power briefings.
